Best Dressed: Emmy’s 2016

Hello again, readers. After recently graduating from college I took a short break from blogging to get settled into the adult world. I am currently working for Nordstrom and I could not be happier with the company and their loyal customers. While my plan is to gain access as a Visual Merchandiser, I am enjoying the process of working my way up…

Over the last unpublished three months I collected so many ideas for my blog that I cannot wait to share. For a subtle comeback, I wanted to start off with my fave looks from last night’s Emmy red carpet. I love a classic Emmy’s appearance, so here’s a look into this years best dressed and bold beauty.

Fave Beauty Looks

To start, I have to say I was obsessed with the pops of color brought into the beauty looks this year. From Emily Ratajkowski’s emerald smoky eye to Olivia Culpo’s sleek purple waterline, I cannot wait to try a poppy shadow this upcoming fall. Sophia Turner’s orange shadow and lived-in braid stole the show!

Best Dressed

With such beautiful women with amazing designers and artists working behind them, it is always so hard to narrow down my favorite looks of the night. In last night’s case I was able to narrow it down to my top ten favorite looks.

While I have listed my favorite looks in no specific order, can we just look at Kristen Bell? The mother of two looks amazing in this feminine gown by Zuhair Murad with a plunge neckline and romantic florals. Speaking of mother… Kerry Washington walked the red carpet in a custom Brandon Maxwell gown with a voluminous ‘do, showing off her rounded baby bump. She’s glowing!

Sarah Paulson looked striking in a kelly green Prada gown. I am loving this new shade of green making it’s debut for fall 2016. Game of Thrones stars, Sophia Turner in Valentino and Emilia Clarke in Atelier Versace, look stunning with opposing looks – dark romantic, to a nude feminine.

Since I am loving shades of green right now, Kathryn Hahn’s dress was a no-brainer. The velvet gown with a plunged lacy neckline is to die for! I also loved the femininity and color choice of Mandy Moore’s Prabal grown. Fall is in the air! Both, Yara Shahidi and Laura Carmichael, looked young and flirty in their adorable pieces.

It is safe to say the 2016 Emmy’s red carpet was full of elegant, beautiful talent. I am interested to see what stars you guys liked the best! Comment below with your fave looks of the night, and don’t be shy with suggestions for what more you would like to see on Regan’s Closet XO
