Over the past two years I’ve gotten into eyeshadow. I was always about the simple, black liquid eyeliner and foundation for an every day look… Thank god I moved passed that stage in my life LOL. My first trial eyeshadow purchase was a cheap, ELF palette. I started watching videos and trying new looks before I made my first official purchase – the Naked 3 palette. I loved the purple-tones against my green/hazel eyes! I just recently purchased the Naked 2 palette, and I’m in love with mixing the different two sets of shades. The gold tones bring out the browns in my hazel eyes.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

Shortly after becoming comfortable with eye shadows, I realized how important my brows were! I don’t recall my first brow filler product, but I do know I went a little overboard. I’ve finally discovered Anastasia’s Brow Wiz to liven up my natural brows! There are 9 shades available, and each pencil comes with a spooley brush to blend color for a natural finish. I love the fine pencil that adds depth and the appearance of thicker brows to my natural hairs.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Moisturizer

I was introduced to this product by my roommate, Colleen. I bounce around with moisturizers for many different reasons including breaks-outs, uneven makeup application, not moisturizing enough, etc. This moisturizer contains a lot of good stuff like aloe vera, organic mango, shea butter, organic extracts of green tea and more! A thin coverage goes a long way and provides perfect moisture even under your makeup application!

TARTE Amazonian Clay Foundation

I’m always trying new foundations for different appearances. I landed on this TARTE foundation when looking for a full-coverage look. Not only does this provide a 12-hour, full coverage look, but it is incredibly lightweight and smoothing.  This goes on appearing matte, but when settled and out of the door, it gives you a natural glow! Perfect for a night out in the warm seasons or an every day, flawless, glowing look in the winter! Definitely worth the 40 bucks.

MAYBELLINE Fit Me Foundation

If you’re looking for a five-star, affordable foundation, this is for you. This Fit Me foundation does exactly what it claims with its variety of tones to fit you perfectly. You can choose from matte and poreless, or dewy and smooth- I chose matte and poreless. Pour a nickel-to-quarter size on the back of your hand and apply with a beauty blender or a stipple brush to create a flawless canvas!

MAYBELLINE Fit Me Concealer

Another drug store product that I can’t get enough of is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer- a perfect match to the Fit Me foundation! The applicator helps with a smooth, controlled application. I apply with the applicator, blend with a beauty blender, and set with a translucent powder. Such a flawless appearance!

Bare Minerals Buttercream Lip Gloss

I’ve always raved about Bare Minerals moxie lip glosses! At the end of 2015 I purchased the Moxie Buttercream lip gloss, which provides a more pigmented, almost lipstick lip gloss, appearance. So smooth and natural, I can’t get enough! My current fave is the shade “Flirty Muave”, paired with the Bare Minerals liner in shades “Exhilarated” or “Revved.”
