Fight Dry Skin

As the weather gets cooler, our skin gets dryer. Aside from your winged eyeliner being uneven, there is nothing worse than applying makeup to dry skin! Everyone’s skin reacts differently to different products, but these four products have helped me fight dry skin the past several winters. But hey! Don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Happy moisturizing!

1. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

BM’s Complexion Rescue is a tinted moisturizer. With that said, it provides coverage and moisture. I use this product in the summer for a natural, dewy coverage, which is especially needed to brighten in the winter! The skincare benefits are an added bonus.

2. Origin’s Overnight Mask

Sleep is essential! When you’re sleeping, your skin cell renewal rate is higher and you are more receptive to products with active ingredients. You also lose water which can dry the skin… Basically, nighttime products should be very important to your skincare routine. I love this overnight mask by Origin! The intense moisture of avocado and apricot kernel oil deeply quenches dull, dry skin, while building a reservoir for tomorrow.

3. Ardency Inn Lip Balm &Primer

Personally, lips are a problem area for me when it’s cold. Lip balm is a handbag essential during the winter! I love this lip balm because it also serves as a color-neutralizing primer, which is great for you fashionistas that are ready to rock your dark matte lip color. Wear alone or before applying lip color to ensure a long-lasting, even lip condition.

4. Humidifier

Not only have I been sleeping peacefully but my skin, lips and hands feel so hydrated! I can only imagine how hydrated my skin will be as I continue using this throughout the night. Definitely a must-have!

5. Yogi Health Skin Tea

If you enjoy a glass of tea at any time of the day, I highly suggest the cinnamon vanilla Yogi tea, formulated with skin-friendly ingredients to help rejuvenate and moisturize the skin. I love tasting the natural flavors of tea, and knowing the benefits that keep me healthy from the inside out. It’s super yummy with an extra hint of vanilla creamer, too!
