Fall has fallen upon us. We all love the season of pumpkin spice lattes and football games, but we can’t forget about fall fashion (duh). Fall is one of my fav seasons to dress for. These are some of my fav trends to pick up on this season!

Boots

First and foremost, boots. I am definitely a boot girl! Combat boots, knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, booties… Open-toe booties, heeled boots, Chelsea boots… The list goes on. The ultimate necessity for your fall fashion wardrobe is a nice pair of thigh-high boots. I usually lean towards black or dark brown, but this season I am thinking about grabbing burgundy knee-highs with a blocked heel to add a little versatility to my shoe closet.

Leather Everything

The next fall wardrobe necessity is leather. Leather boots, leather skirts, leather dresses. Although you can easily style leather in any season, it makes the most sense to wear it in the colder seasons due to the weight of the fabric. I tend to lean towards cute and caj in the fall, so I’d pair a leather jacket with a longline shirt dress and a simple leather shoe. Pair a tight leather mini skirt with your boyfriend’s oversized flannel and a crop top, with your now adored thigh-high boots. Even though this is the season to layer, you can still be sexy without showing skin… Pair lace and leather for a sexy edge!

Duster Coats

Long-line jackets have always been a fall fav of mine. Kim Kardashian West is pregnant and coats have made her feel more comfortable with her changing body, and I have to say she does it well… I love that she creates monochrome looks with the perfect layering technique. Pair a duster coat with a mini dress and thigh-highs for a layered look, or go for a KKW look with pieces of the same color family.

Longline Bombers

Take your duster coat to the next level with a longline bomber jacket. I am predicting this will be a huge trend this fall because of the previous sportif trends this past spring and summer. I love bombers at any length, but picking up a longline bomber will make your layering goals much simpler! Pair this Forever21 bomber with a longline, side-slit tee with leather leggings and a pair of heeled combat boots for the perfect fall utility outfit.
