1. Total Denim

Denim-on-denim done right… Similar shades of denim, paired with nude pumps, Chanel pins and a monochrome clutch! If you’re in need of a statement outfit, denim-on-denim is the way to go. I would even pair an all-denim outfit with a baby blue pair of Adidas Originals Supercolor sneakers.

 

2. Military-Inspired

Military-inspired looks made their comeback last fall, with no signs of slowing down. This jumpsuit speaks for itself, paired with simple black patent-leather ankle strap pumps. Adding a flannel around the waist wouldn’t hurt for a more casual street style.

 

3. Bomber Jacket + Superstars

Between the bomber jacket and the Superstars, I can’t decide which trend I love more. Bombers are a great piece to add edge to your casual look. 4. Palazzo Pants

This look is to die for! I bought my first pair of palazzo pants last summer and they have become a staple ever since. Pair with a formfitting bodysuit, crop top, bralette, or steal Rihanna’s braless tank look. RiRi gives the perfect amount of edge and completes this look with a dark lip, oversized shades, reptile handbag and quirky pumps. I love the way she subtly coordinates patterns.

 

5. Coordinates

Co-ords are another popular trend styled gorgeously by Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, and of course, Rihanna. Many retailers have picked up on this trend and have started selling coordinates as sets, or styling matched pieces to save you the hassle of finding that perfect shade of nude. Co-ords can be worn as solids and patterns, so there’s never a lack of possible looks! The best part about co-ord combinations is being able to pair each piece with other items in your closet. Rihanna keeps this fuzzy baby blue co-ord simple with white ankle strap pumps, but I think she could have definitely pulled in another pop of color- she is Rihanna.

 

6. Strappy Pumps

Style is more than clothing… It’s learning how to make creative combinations with footwear, hair, makeup- and in Rihanna’s case- tattoos! Strappy pumps are essential for glamming simple dresses. There’s just something about the lace-up that gets me every time. The midi dress is an added bonus trend! Midi skirts and dresses have become another staple. The dress length accentuates the legs, cutting off above the ankle to give the image of longer legs. Midi dress + strappy pumps = *heart eyes for Rihanna*
