My style changes every day… I used to think I needed to stick to common theme, whether it was moto-boho, vintage grunge, or “hippie-dippie,” but I’ve come to the conclusion that my versatility is what makes my style, mine. One day you will see me in a cropped leather jacket with a loose-fitted tank, high-waisted bell bottoms and peep-toe booties, and the next you it could be a form-fitted, monochrome coordinate.
Many girls have come to me for styling ideas or mall runs, but this post should help make your next shopping spree a lot easier! Once you’ve picked up my top wardrobe essentials, jumping from decade to trend, and styling your next outfit will become a lot easier.
1. Leather Jacket
First thing’s first, throw away your cardigans and pick up a leather jacket. The word cardigan in itself gives me flashbacks of my first through third grade (toothless) picture days. A leather jacket is perfect for any season and gives just enough edge to a simple outfit. My favorite leather jacket, by Gypsy Warrior, is a cropped, ¾ sleeve with several zipper accents. I bought it for a little over $50 (sold out now), and I wear it with everything! For slimmer, longer-torso beauties, I’d recommend leather jackets at a hip-length. For shorter torso’s or bigger-than-average bums, I’d recommend a cropped fit. This will accentuate your curves in all the right places, I promise! Jackets can also double as capes, just throw it over the shoulders of your outfit for a chic look.
2. Statement Necklace
My must-have accessories are a statement necklace and a choker necklace. Although I love the aesthetics of many types of jewelry, I always tend to lean towards necklaces. Pair a chunky, antique-silver tribal necklace with a solid crop or tank and pull in a patterned bottom with a simple shoe. Same goes for chokers. #1 on my want-list is the silver coin choker by one of my favorite jewelry retailers, Natalie B Jewelry. There is something so sexy about a fitted necklace. I love chokers with any boobtastic top, or a high neck top or dress. Statement jewelry is a great way to turn a minimalistic outfit into a showstopper.
3. Midi Skirts
Midi skirts have become more popular than ever, probably thanks to Kim Kardashian West’s curvy, minimalistic looks. A midi-skirt in any color should be incorporated into your wardrobe… Want a casual, yet girly, on-trend look? Pair a solid bodycon midi-skirt with a loose-fitted cropped tee and a pair of colorful sneakers. For a GNO, pull on your midi-skirt with a lace-up bodysuit and a simple pair of pumps. Bodycon maxi skirts are another great piece to have. I love seeing a sleek shoe stop at the hem of skirt.
4. Jumpsuits
Say yes to jumpsuits! I love jumpsuits because they are easily the quickest outfits. This applies to rompers as well. Depending on fabrics and styles, jumpsuits can be just enough for a quick trip to the mall or a going out outfit, which makes them essential. Think of your romper or jumpsuit has an entire outfit! I like to buy jumpsuits that have a tie that accentuates my curves at the waist. Culotte jumpsuits are a perfect match for creating a balance with longer legs.
5. T-shirt Dress
T-shirt dresses (or shift dresses) have just as much fun as midi-skirts, just easier! Throw on a striped or solid t-shirt dress, and with the right jewelry and footwear, you can easily go from day to night. I like to wear my striped tee dress with laced platform boots and my cropped leather jacket for just enough bad ass. This look with a dark red lip and loose, piecey curls equals perfection!
These items are just a start to a versatile wardrobe! XO

Incredible! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it
has pretty much the same page layout and design. Wonderful
